At Northstar Hound, we aim to provide a clear, reliable and transparent shipping experience for every customer. This Shipping Policy explains where we ship, how long delivery may take, available carrier services, shipping costs and what to do if there is an issue with your order.

We currently offer free shipping on all orders within Australia.

Shipping Locations

This Shipping Policy applies to orders shipped within:

Australia

At this time, we only ship to the locations listed above. Orders placed for delivery outside these locations may not be accepted or may be cancelled and refunded.

Delivery Times

Our delivery timeframes are made up of two parts:

  1. Order handling time: the time it takes us to process, prepare and dispatch your order.

  2. Transit time: the time it takes the carrier to deliver your order after dispatch.

Order Cutoff Time

5:00PM AEST/AEDT

Orders placed after the cutoff time will be processed on the next business day. This may add one additional business day to the estimated delivery timeframe.

Order Handling Time

1–2 business days, Monday–Friday.

Orders are processed during our normal business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Once your order has been processed, it will be dispatched through one of our shipping carriers.

Transit Time

6–8 business days, Monday–Friday.

Transit time begins once your order has been dispatched and handed over to the carrier.

Estimated Total Delivery Time

7–10 business days.

The estimated total delivery time includes both order handling time and transit time.

Please note that delivery timeframes are estimates only. Delays may occur due to carrier issues, customs processing, weather conditions, public holidays, high order volumes or other circumstances outside our control.

We use reliable carrier services to deliver orders within Australia. Carriers may include:

  • StarTrack

  • Aramex Australia

  • CouriersPlease

  • DHL

  • Local courier partners

The carrier used for your order may depend on your delivery location, order size, product availability and shipping method.

Shipping Costs

Free Shipping

All eligible orders shipped within Australia qualify for free shipping with no minimum order requirement.

Paid Shipping, If Applicable

For destinations or shipping options that are not covered by our free shipping offer, any applicable shipping costs will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

We do not charge any hidden shipping fees after checkout.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number, where available.

Please allow up to 24–48 hours for tracking information to update after your order has been dispatched.

Delivery Issues

If your order is delayed, missing, marked as delivered but not received or appears to be lost in transit, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible.

We will assist you by reviewing your order details, checking the tracking information and contacting the carrier where appropriate.

If an order is confirmed to be lost or undeliverable, we will work with you to provide a suitable resolution in line with our store policies and applicable consumer laws.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping details at checkout, including the correct name, delivery address, email address and phone number.

If you notice an error in your shipping details after placing an order, please contact us immediately at info@northstarhound.com.au. We will do our best to update the information before the order is dispatched.

Once an order has been shipped, we may not be able to change the delivery address.

Failed Delivery or Returned Packages

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal of delivery or failure to collect the package, we will contact you to arrange the next steps.

Additional shipping fees may apply if the order needs to be resent.

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our shipping processes, carrier services, delivery locations or legal requirements.
